REUNION 2011

We have included below some of the on going projects here in the yard.

1953 Chevrolet 4 door sedan
1953 Chevrolet 210 4 door sedan
This very cool '53 project started out about 3 years ago from this burnt out shell of a car.  The car is now built on a Chevrolet Trailblazer chasis, drivetrain and floor.
1968 Buick Skylark Convertible
This car waqs purchased from a photograph. It had been sitting in the desert outside Palm Springs CA for over 20 years.  Originally a yellow with black top.  Check out the photos of the unexpected problems with rust in this car.  We had to do extensive rust annihilation.
1965 Mustang Convertible
1964 1/2 Mustang Convetrtible
I bought this 1964 1/2 Mustang 6cyl auto with air convertible before my 29 year old daughter could drive. I fixed it up but before she could drive I had flash backs to all the side of the road 6 cylinder Mustangs I had passed  in my teens and decided to get her a SUV. Much safer, she did haave the first year accident.  29 something years later sitting under my car tree, she has taken a beating.  I have now cloned her with a 2004 Mustang Cobra supercharged V8 6 speed and independent rear suspension. Now she should stay running.
I bought this Corvette before I got married in 1979, I drove it  to the reception than home. It has gone through some changes over the years, originally Corvette copper, then blue then white which was the color when I bought it from Allstate Insurance back in 1978.  I pulled out the 327  and threw in a 1969 Corvette LT1 motor, man could that car fly.  Years later I decided to restore the car back to the original Corvette copper and strpped it down to the fiberglass first. I instantly hated the color and the car.....I let it sit for over 20 years.  I decided to paint it back to the white that I loved.  So it is once again in the final stages of becoming a white with black  roadster again.
Corvair Rampside pickup
The Rampside was bought from an Insurance company that said it couldn't be fixed due to  no parts being available....they didn't know I had a couple in the yard.
